I'm trying to measure the on-off control signal from a NPN open collector output using a data recorder, but I'm not getting a correct waveform.

There is no on-off square wave and the wave keeps fluctuating at zero volt. Could there be something wrong with the wiring?
看不見(jiàn)ON/OFF的矩形波，總在0 V附近波動(dòng)。

That could be the problem. If the NPN open collector output is not connected to any other equipments, you need a load resistor and an external power supply.
可能是這個(gè)問(wèn)題。如果NPN集電極開(kāi)路輸出沒(méi)有連接到其它機(jī)器上，就必須使用負(fù)載電阻及其外部電源。
